Aww, thank you for the kind words! My drawings are done using ‘Paintbrush’, which is essentially the mac version of Microsoft’s ‘Paint’. I’ve always been terrible at art, so stick figure drawings are about as skilled as I get. I’m getting better, but I have had to use the powers of youtube to teach me how to draw certain things. For one of my first posts, Mommy Brain, I had to watch a video to learn how to draw bubbles. Bubbles! Apparently, they’re trickier than they look.
Corrine I was sorry to hear about the change in situation. I hope your transition back to the Bay Area goes well and that both of you are able to find jobs soon. Emilie and Brandon may be in the same boat very soon. Brandon is jobless and Emilie is expecting (due in September). Give Sammy a hug from me and say hello to Jim. (Please tell me I got that right. I am terrible with adult names, as you know.)
Thanks, Tricia. I think we’ll be ok. The job change is bittersweet; the reason for leaving is sad, but thought of returning ‘home’ is nice. I’ve already had a verbal promise on a job (not an official offer yet) so I think we’ll be just fine. Tell Emilie congratulations for me on her pregnancy, that’s wonderful news! I’m sure their situation will work itself out soon; sometimes these things are just meant to happen to lead us to better things. At least, that’s my hope!
